ILUMINARC® Launch Receives Enthusiastic Response

NEW YORK -- ILUMINARC®, an emerging architectural lighting firm, received an enthusiastic response to its product debut at Lightfair International in early May. The ILUMINARC® booth offered simple elegance with an uncluttered white-on-white look.

“We chose Lightfair to launch our products because that show caters to our target market – architects, lighting specifiers and systems integrators,” said Jamey Brock, ILUMINARC® business development manager. “There are a lot of high profile projects out there specifying LED fixtures and paid for through federal government stimulus funds.”

ILUMINARC’s product launch included more than 20 LED luminaires.  All products are ETL listed and meet or exceed industry standards.

A popular show hit was the Ilumipod™ 48 IP, a high power, RGBW, LED wash with a color temperature range of 3,200°K to 10,000°K and 179 watts of total power. The Ilumipod™ 36 IP VW, a high power variable white indoor/outdoor rated LED fixture was also particularly well received. This light comes with 18 warm and 18 cool white LEDs with color temperatures ranging from 2,800°K to 7,000°K.

The initial launch featured proven LED technology but the company also actively pursues other emerging, energy-efficient technologies. “One of our competitive advantages is in our ability to anticipate and react quickly to shifts in the rapidly changing architectural lighting market, and the growing demand for efficient lighting,” Brock said.
